The Enrichment Learning Opportunities (ELO) Activities are listed below. There are some changes with math, so my homeroom students...please take note of that. I have a presentation on Google Classroom that you should take a look at. It helps explain everything a little bit more.
Packets: I will have new packets available on Wednesdays (every two weeks...next one is 4/15) for those that need them. The work will be the same as what is online. You can pick up the packets from the school during the meal pick-up times (11:30-1:00) on Mondays and Wednesdays. Again, new activities will be done every two weeks for both online and in packet form. Math (Crocker Only): Choose one or two of these to do:
Social Studies: You need to read all of Lessons 28-30. You can highlight and take notes if you would like. You can do any or all of the workbook pages (this is mainly for comprehension/remembering what you read). There is a Lesson Game that you can play as well. If you go to my YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UCOt0QrXtVnTO7su8VEFKJKQ/ I have a bunch of videos under the playlist, Mesoamerica. Also, BrainPop has a bunch on the Maya, Inca, and Aztecs. A message has been sent to parents/guardians. We will update the website and send additional messages to keep you informed. At this time, classes will resume on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Notification of the closure extension from the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools can be viewed by clicking here. Very Important!!!!!
There is going to be a change in how and what we are doing. We are having an online teacher meeting on Monday to get all the information that we need. Continue to read the textbook online, but changes are happening. I will, as always, keep you informed as soon as I understand what is going on. There will be NO work packet distribution on Monday due to this change. I would hate to waste tons of paper because things are changing that day. Thank you! Hi Everyone, I miss you all so very much! I miss our classroom, and our conversations, and inside jokes. I miss the "splash zone" fun and laughter. I am hoping that we actually can get back to school soon, but it seems like this is never ending. But, we must be hopeful. On that note, here are some more enrichment activities for you to do for the next two weeks. Packets: I will have packets available on Monday for those that need them. The work will be different from here. You can pick up the work from the school during the meal pick-up times (11:30-1:00) everyday. I will not be making new packets for two weeks...or until the school tells me to start to make things that are graded. Please feel free to contact me about anything or even to say hello. You can also vent your frustration about things. I am here for you...and would love to hear from you. Also, if you find a great YouTube video about what you are learning, send me the link...and I will post it on my YouTube channel. Math (Crocker Only): Choose one or two of these to do:

https://youtu.be/mbrvvwz3uqE Hi, So, this is the work for you to do for the days of 3/19-3/27. I realize that next week is spring break, but you have had no work for this week...so it kind of evens itself out. There is no physical work that you will be turning in at this time. This is so that you are still learning, but not for a grade. You do NOT want to start to forget information or how to annotate/take notes. It is best for you to still do some academics during this time. Math (Crocker Only): Choose one or two of these to do:
Social Studies: You need to read all of Lessons 26-27. You can highlight and take notes if you would like. You can do any or all of the workbook pages (this is mainly for comprehension/remembering what you read). There is a Lesson Game that you can play as well. Info:These items are for enrichment. This will help you still grow as a student while we are all away from the classroom. You can go at your own pace OR you can follow the plan that I will be posting for every week. I hope that this will pass soon, and we can be back in the classroom for the remainder of the year.
